Department of Justice Office of Victims of Crime, API community-based organizations and our collaborative partners are able to work together to identify potential victims and help them access culturally and linguistically appropriate ways. A kind and strong individual, Ailene is fueled by her passion for building culturally-relevant and genuine community-based spaces and programming. These community-driven activities seek to empower Asians and Pacific Islanders to define and control their lives and the future of their community. Founded in , the overall goal of SAN is to inform and empower South Asian communities by acting as an agent of change in eliminating biases, discrimination and injustices targeted against persons of South Asian origin and by providing linkages amongst communities through shared experiences. Since then, Diyana has spent almost a decade coordinating nonprofit programs, communications, and advocacy. Our core staff collaborates closely with community members, organizational partners, youth activists, researchers, and other local leaders on a daily basis.
LTSC sponsors over a dozen different community and social service programs in seven different languages. Our greatest resource is our youth.
